I Don't Think I'll Ever Figure Out Me

Josh + Bex are a Dream Folk duo from the Okanagan Valley of BC. Their spellbinding harmonies and honed yet rustic sound, meet at the intersection of hope and sorrow as they intuitively and vulnerably craft songs that explore the wondrous realm of the human experience. Their sound is an alt folk fusion, reminiscent of Alison Krauss/Robert Plant meets Caamp.

This soul-stirring duo bring a unique synthesis of east and west coast in their warm onstage banter, performance and storytelling. Josh engages the audience, influenced by a broad lineage of eclectic song-smithing, while Bex, approaches the audience with a charmingly introspective aptitude. Together they have woven their flawlessly blended harmonies into their mindful and dynamic performance--presenting a juxtaposition of pin-drop moments with explosions of heart-felt intensity and jubilation.

The pair have consecutively placed in the Kelowna Now's top-3 bands/musicians since 2018, giving them wide recognition throughout the Okanagan Valley and beyond. The duo received their festival start, after winning the local Emerging Artist contest, at the internationally acclaimed Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival in 2019. Most recently, they warmed up the stage with Bahama's, The Paper Kites and Billianne at Red Bird Brewing's Nest Fest '23 and played Kelowna’s premier indie winter festival, Fireside Festival (2018, 2021, 2023). Additionally, they had the opportunity to perform at the Jasper Folk Music Festival in September '23. This past July they took the main stage at Saskatchewan's Napatak Ramble. In October '24, they head to Duncan, BC, where they will perform the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre, as part of their "Stoned In Paradise" EP Release Tour to the lower mainland and Vancouver Island.

Josh + Bex released their self-titled EP in 2019. Everything is Everything is Josh + Bex latest full-length dream folk production, released in 2022. Whimsical and illuminating—these songs bridge the audience from the physical to the metaphysical world.

They release their newest work—a 5-song EP, Stoned in Paradise, in the spring of 2024. They are taking this new collection of songs on the road this spring, summer and fall with western Canadian tours planned in BC, AB and SK.
